This team project raises awareness on California's water crisis by using a community driven platform.

Rico empowers individuals to use their cameras to document water-intensive crops in their local area to gather data on the impact of groundwater depletion in the San Joaquin Valley, contributing to community-driven scientific research.

Trying on Different Lenses

By allowing users to assume various roles and receive custom attributes based on their choice, we enhance their experience and offer insight into how others are affected by the groundwater crisis.

Community Engagement

Locating other researchers who have previously documented the area and reviewing their latest findings is crucial for keeping the community informed about the long-term impact.

Utilizing augmented reality to assist researchers in pinpointing the closest documentation area, simplifying the locating process.
